Checked in Baggage

Make the most of checked-in baggage limits by pooling baggage with others in your travelling party. Just ensure you check in together.

Check your free baggage allowance below. Baggage limits vary depending on where you are travelling. The allowances below apply to Air New Zealand operated flights only. If your flight is operated by an Air New Zealand codeshare partner, you will need to check your baggage allowance with the other airline.

Interlining Baggage

If you have a connecting flight with another airline, your baggage may be interlined if you are travelling on a carrier which Air New Zealand has an interline agreement with and provided all your flights are ticketed on the same ticket.  If your flights are ticketed separately, baggage may only be interlined between carriers that Air New Zealand has an interline agreement with if your tickets are issued
in-conjunction with each other. Please contact your booking agent if you are unsure whether your baggage may be interlined.
