* Air New Zealand operated flights only.
Premium Economy is available on Air New Zealand operated Boeing 777 and 787-9 Dreamliner operated Tasman and Island services.
Business Premier™ is offered on Air New Zealand wide bodied aircraft - Boeing 777 and 787-9 Dreamliner.
Buy snacks and drinks on board
Once you've enjoyed your meal and drink service, you'll be able to purchase snacks and drinks from our Inflight Bites menu using a credit card or prepaid voucher which can be purchased at the airport (please note cash and debit cards are not accepted on board Air New Zealand flights).
For further details on your food options on board, please check out our eating and drinking information.
Please note: If you are travelling with an infant you are welcome to bring your own baby food and feeding equipment on board. Our cabin crew are happy to prepare, heat and wash bottles whenever needed, however please note there are no sterilising facilities on board the aircraft.
Baggage allowances
Airpoints Elite and Gold members can take an additional carry-on bag (up to 7kg) with any of the Seats to Suit products.
Airpoints Elite, Gold and Koru members can take an additional checked bag (up to 23kg) with Economy.
Infants are entitled to a one piece cabin baggage allowance but do not receive a checked baggage allowance.
Lounge access
With our Business Premier product you'll receive lounge access when departing from airports where Air New Zealand has has a branded and operated airport lounge.
Business class customers also have access to the Qantas lounge when departing from Adelaide. Please note there is no lounge access at the Sunshine Coast airport.
If travelling via an indirect route lounge access is not available in the transit airport. e.g. if travelling Auckland --> Brisbane --> Cairns, lounge access is available in Auckland only, not Brisbane.
If travelling from a regional New Zealand airport lounge, access is available when transiting in New Zealand. e.g. if travelling Dunedin --> Christchurch --> Brisbane, lounge access is available in both Dunedin and Christchurch.
Card payment fee when booking
If you choose to pay by credit card, a card payment fee of NZD $6 (per person per one-way Australia journey) will be added to your booking. To avoid paying this fee you can pay by Air NZ Travelcard or POLi. Please see our help section for further information.
