From 31 May 2012 bmi will no longer be an Airpoints partner or a member of the Star Alliance.
Airpoints Dollars and Status Points will be able to be earned on flights operated by bmi until 31 May 2012. Travel on any flights operated by bmi after this date will not earn Airpoints Dollars or Status Points.
Airpoints Gold & Gold Elite members will continue to receive Star Alliance Gold benefits until 31 May 2012 when travelling on bmi services.
Claims for missing Airpoints Dollars and Status Points may be made for bmi flights taken before 31 May 2012 for up to 6 months. Reward bookings on bmi flights booked and ticketed before 31 May 2012 will be honoured for 12 months.
Please note that Airpoints Dollars™ cannot be earned or redeemed on bmi baby services which operates services between East Midlands and Edinburgh, Belfast, Glasgow, Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels.
