Air New Zealand, has announced a review of its marketing agency arrangements and will be putting its account up for pitch in the New Year.
The airline has been working with Fox Kalomaski for the last 12 years.
Air New Zealand's European marketing manager, Kathryn Gregory said: "We have been with Fox Kalomaski for a very long time and they have done a great job over the years. However the airline has changed tremendously in the last couple of years with the launch of our new inflight flying experience and a second service from London to Hong Kong. All this change means that now is the right time for us to review agencies. We need to ensure we have the strongest team in place to meet our long term ambitions of not just being the major carrier to New Zealand but also on Hong Kong and Los Angeles."
A shortlist of potential agencies is currently being drawn up with the assistance of AAR which is handling all enquiries from interested agencies about the pitch process.
Media planning and buying through Walker Media and public relations handled by Grayling will not be affected by the review.
Air New Zealand flies from the UK to New Zealand (via Hong Kong and Los Angeles) twice a day from Heathrow. Air New Zealand had a complete refit of their fleet in 2005 and now offers a three class service comprising Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy.
