Pricing and Room Options for Children

There are different age limits for children when it comes to the accommodation and airfare parts of your package - please see below.

Accommodation

Pricing for children varies based on policies of individual properties. Child pricing may be available at some properties for children up to 17 years of age - please check each property for details.

Some properties allow children to stay with no additional charge when sharing the same room as the parents/guardians. To check the child policy of a hotel, please review the Room Policies information provided in the hotel profile (under Rooms).

Flights

Children aged from 2 to 11 years are generally priced at 75% of an available adult fare. Children aged 12 years and over are priced at an adult fare.

For domestic travel child Smart Saver fares are now the same price as adult fares. The Flexi Plus fare level for children (2 - 11 years) is 75% of the adult fare (if accompanied by an adult 15 years or older).

On Tasman and Pacific flights two children per adult may travel at 75% of an available adult fare, with third and subsequent children being charged at an adult fare. For travel to Tahiti, New Caledonia and the United States, the restriction of two children per adult does not apply.
