The Pacific Premium Economy Class cabin includes an ergonomically designed seat, with adjustable headrest and a spacious 38-40 inch seat pitch. Customers experiencing our Pacific Premium Economy cabin, will also benefit from Premium check-in; Premium food and beverage service; access to in-seat power (only fits NZ/EU/US/AU plug. Needs UK adaptor); and a personal 8.4 inch high-resolution video screen for every seat, with on demand visual and audio capabilities.
You can also add free Hong Kong, Los Angeles and Auckland (when travelling to Wellington or Christchurch) stopovers in both directions.

For itineraries that travel via Los Angeles, all passengers must be travelling on their own machine readable passports. Find our more about travelling through Los Angeles International Airport. The Pacific Premium Economy cabin will be available only on London/Heathrow to Hong Kong/Los Angeles to Auckland, and Auckland to Hong Kong/Los Angeles to London/Heathrow services. All passengers that travel via Los Angeles International Airport, must be travelling on their own machine readable passports and complete the ESTA online form at least 72 hours prior to departure from the UK.

Travelling Cabin - The Pacific Premium Economy class will be available only on London/Heathrow - Hong Kong/Los Angeles - Auckland, and Auckland - Hong Kong/Los Angeles - London/Heathrow services. Round trip airfare per person. PLEASE NOTE: Air New Zealand services from Los Angeles to The Pacific Islands (The Cook Islands, Western Samoa, Tonga and Fiji) and from The Pacific Islands (The Cook Islands, Tahiti Western Samoa, Tonga and Fiji) to New Zealand and vice versa, as well as domestic services within New Zealand, DO NOT have a Pacific Premium Economy Class cabin, therefore travel on these services will be in the standard Economy Class cabin. Air Tahiti Nui operates the Los Angeles to Tahiti and v.v. services, and travel will be in their Economy Class cabin. Air Pacific operates the Los Angeles to Fiji and v.v. services, and travel will be in their Economy Class cabin.

Taxes - Fares listed include estimated government taxes, ticketing and handling fees. Estimated tax component includes a fuel surcharge fee of £109 per one-way Air New Zealand journey. Taxes are subject to currency fluctuation and routing. Estimated taxes are based on non-stop routings only (when stopovers are made taxes WILL vary/increase). Estimated taxes are based on using NZ38 London/Heathrow to Auckland and NZ39 Auckland to London/Heathrow services.
Payment & Ticketing - Bookings made online must be purchased immediately with credit card. E-Tickets will be processed for bookings on this fare.
Cancellation/Changes - Date changes not requiring a reissue of ticket are free of charge, subject to same booking class being available. Service fee of £20 may apply. Rerouting permitted, however a service fee of £20 will apply. Fare must be recalculated and the new ticket must be of equal or greater value. Ticket is non-transferable and has a £150 cancellation fee. After departure, it is non refundable. No show penalty is £150.
Stopovers - Free stopovers in Hong Kong or Los Angeles in each direction. Free stopovers also permitted in Auckland (when destination is Wellington or Christchurch), in both directions.
Frequent Flyer - Air New Zealand Airpoints accural is permitted on the Air New Zealand operated services only. For other frequent flyer programs, please check with your airline.
Minimum/Maximum Stays - No Minimum stay and Maximum stay is 12 months.
Children/Infants - Children (aged 2-11 inclusive) accompanied by an adult are entitled to a 25% discount. Infants (aged under 2) accompanied by an adult are entitled to a 90% discount, however the infant is not entitled to a seat. The infant will therefore be required to travel on the adult's knee/lap. Unaccompanied minors NOT permitted on these fares.
Travel Documentation - Passengers are responsible for obtaining the necessary travel visa, or other documentation required for international travel including documentation to transit the USA and Hong Kong, depending on routing chosen. If the itinerary involves travelling via Los Angeles in either or both directions, all passengers require their own machine readable passport. Baggage Allowance - The checked-in baggage allowance on flights between London/Heathrow, via Hong Kong to New Zealand and vice versa uses the 'Weight System' of 20 kgs per adult and child. The checked-in baggage allowance on flights between London/Heathrow, via Los Angeles to New Zealand and vice versa uses the 'Piece System' which is 2 bags, at a maximum weight of 23 kgs per piece, per adult and child. On itineraries that combine flights via Hong Kong and Los Angeles, the 'Piece System' is applied for the entire itinerary. Size limitations also apply.
